Here our some of our district team, these are just a few of the amazing volunteers we have in Gravesham Scouts.
Fraser Patrick
Lead Volunteer
Fraser leads the District of over 1000 people. He is also a Cub leader and a hill walking instructor, and has previously run Scouts and Explorers.
Jack Reeves
District Youth Lead
Jack represents the views of the young people in the District. He is the Assistant Cub Leader of 5th Northfleet, a scout network member and also help with district explorer meetings.

Volunteering Development Team Leader
The Volunteering Development Team Leader leads an excellent team of volunteer leaders who manage Adult Recruitment, Adult Learning and Volunteer Recognition. You will provide support for volunteers to develop new skills, increase their knowledge of scouting and grow in confidence.
David Norris
Programme Team Leader
Dave leads the team that organises and supports the running of all District Events and Activities and will support sections within the 4-14 age range across the District. Dave will also continue his role of Group Lead Volunteer for 1st Northfleet Scout Group.
Hannah Connolly
14-24 Team Leader
Hannah leads the team focused on Explorers, Network (both delivered at the District Level), and young leader support across the District.
Pat Duncumb
District Support Team Lead
As the support team lead, Pat leads the team of volunteers who support the running of the District and Hopehill Campsite. She also is an Archery assessor and DofE/Top Awards advisor.
Keith Jones
Chairman
Keith has been a valued member of Gravesham Scouts for many years and has supported in various ways. He is now also the chair of the District Board of Trustees. Ensuring that it fulfills the role and responsibilities within Gravesham District Scouts.

Meet Myles Sullivan, the digital wizard behind Gravesham Scouts’ online! From websites to our Facebook Community, he’s on a mission to make Scouting awesome and share the joy.
Sue Livett
District Treasurer
As well as looking after the Districts finances, Sue is also a Cub Leader at 1st Windmill Hill.
Alan Skelton
HopeHill Manager
Alan is responsible for running the Hopehill site, overseeing the maintenance and operations.
Del Jarvis
District Activities Permit Advisor
Del works with our District team to help people upskill and achieve permits to allow them to run activities in the District.
Daniel Griggs
District Duke of Edinburgh Advisor
Dan is Gravesham Scouts Duke of Edinburgh Award Team Leader. Coordinating the team supporting all training, expeditions and other sections to achieve the awards.
Lynda Sawell
District Chaplain
Lynda’s role is to offer support to leaders as they facilitate young people’s exploration of faith, beliefs and attitudes; and engage in a positive journey of spiritual development within Scouting.
David Norris
Squirrel Section Lead
Dave will be helping and guiding the continued growth and support of the Squirrels provision within Gravesham Scouts.
Jo Davis
Beaver Section Lead
Jo makes up one half of our Beaver Support duo! Together the Beaver Support team will be the link between Beaver Colonies within groups across Gravesham and the District team. Offering support and guidance. Jo will continue as Riverview Parks Beaver Team Leader as well.
Gemma Wade
Beaver Section Lead
Gemma is the other half of our Beaver Support duo! Together the Beaver Support team will be the link between Beaver Colonies within groups across Gravesham and the District team. Offering support and guidance. Gemma will continue as Istead Rise’s Beaver Team Leader too.
Chris Norman
Cub Section Lead
Chris will be supporting all Cub Packs across Gravesham Scouts. His experience will help give guidance and support where needed. Chris will also continue in his role as Cub Team Leader at 31st Gravesend.
Chelsie Burton-Grey
Scout Section Lead
Chelsie will be using her years of experience and knowledge to help give support and guidance to all the Scout Troops across Gravesham. She will also continue on in her role at 1st Northfleet as Scout Team Leader.
Darren Stanford
10 – 24 Events Lead
Darren will be leading District Events for Scouts, Explorers and Network. His team will lead the way for all events in those age ranges at a District Level with input and support from the Sections involved. Darren will continue as 4th Gravesends Scout Team Leader and other roles such as a Hopehill warden.
