Autumn Hillcraft 2024

Autumn Hillcraft is a hillwalking event open to all Scouts (who are in year 8 or above at the time of the event), all Explorer Scouts, Scout Network members and Leaders from all sections within Gravesham District.

The fee for the event is £120 for Scouts and Explorers, which includes accommodation (in a bunkhouse), food and travel to/from/during the event, is payable via bank transfer.

Please note that spaces are limited due to number of bunks.

Prior to the actual Autumn Hillcraft event, there is a pre-camp event at Hopehill on the 4th/5th October 2024 that all participants must attend - full details will be issued post sign up.

Autumn Hillcraft is aimed to aid as an entry level to Hillwalking for some of our younger or inexperienced Scouts and Explorers. With this in mind, alongside the limited number of beds we have, this year we are firstly asking people to 'express their interest' in the event via a short form. Then, in due course, one of the event leadership team will be intouch to confirm places. At that point we will ask for further details (such as medical information) and to give details on how to make payment for the event.
