JP Bond Cooking & Camping Competition

Every Troop/Unit is encouraged to enter at least one Patrol, each Patrol should, have the experience and skill, together with the equipment, to be fully self-sufficient during the weekend.  Leaders on site will give every encouragement to Scouts/Explorers developing their skills and therefore any Patrol can camp for the weekend, and pit their talents against others in the District, with the knowledge that experienced Leaders will be nearby. A Patrol should comprise a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 members. This is the perfect  opportunity to show off the cooking and camping skills that you have learnt from your Troop/Unit nights and camps, putting them up against the other Troops/Units from around the district.
