Autumn Hillcraft

For this years Autumn Hillcraft we are off to Dartmoor for several days of walking and navigation skills! From October 29th, until November 1st this years event will be based at Batchelor Hall in Dartmoor.

Autumn Hillcraft is a hillwalking event open to all Scouts (who are in year 8 or above at the time of the event), all Explorer Scouts, Scout Network members and Leaders from all sections within Gravesham District.

Hillcraft is a great event that helps Scouts and Explorers develop a variety of skills such as map work, how to use a compass, team work and team leading amongst many more!

The Autumn event is aimed more towards newbies on the hills wanting their first taste of hillwalking where we stay in a bunkhouse and centrally cater in order to allow the young people to ease their way into the adventure of Hillwalking.

The fee for the event is £130 for Scouts and Explorers, which includes accommodation (in a bunkhouse), food and travel.
