Shooting

Our rifle range is available in 1 hour sessions accommodating 12 participants per hour. With 4 participants firing at a time down our range and seating for those awaiting for their turn. The target position can be changed with distances of 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 meters from the desk. There is also the option for placing a target so that a rifle can be shot from the prone (laying down) position.

Fun doesn’t finish when the sun goes down with lighting on the range and waiting area. Perfect for that evening visit to the site or while on camp. Both the firing and waiting area under shelter to help protect from not just the rain but also from a hot summer day.

Available with one of our instructors subject to availability with a minimum notice period of 4 weeks. If you have your own instructor and equipment then our range is available to hire. A copy of the qualification will need to be provided.

With BB rifles for ages over 6, air rifles suitable for those over 10 and air pistol for those over 14 there is something new to try.

Wheelchair user accessibility

From the carpark to the range there is no hard surface so is dependent on the wheelchair in use. The waiting area and firing desk are both wheel chair friendly on concrete slabs. We would say that retrieving targets is not wheelchair user friendly due to a drop from concrete slab onto the grass.

Owing to the nature of the activity participants are required to fill out a consent form.
