What a fantastic first week with the new colony of beavers at St Mary’s. In collaboration with Louise from Kent Growth and Development, we have had six parents sign up to do the 4 week challenge with us, and others agreeing to become part of a parent rota. This strong start means we have already been able to create 4 lodges with the children, which they had great fun choosing names last night.
We have so much planned for the children already, and they are loving learning all about Scouting, and getting ready for the night when they get their uniforms and become invested.
Thank you to all the district and county beaver leaders who have been in touch, offered help and support, and suggested joint outings (which we are really looking forward to).
