Hi Everyone,
So there we go, 2023 is drawing to an end with 2024 on the horizon.
Generally speaking the District is in pretty good shape which isn’t so much of a surprise when we have such a fantastic team of adult and young leaders supporting it.
For sure there will be some challenges in 2024, but the spirit of Scouting lives on in Gravesham and between us all we will find solutions to most of the hurdles.
This will be my last blog as District Commissioner. It’s been an absolute honour and a privilege to hold the post over the last few years. I have made so many friends both locally and further afield. Gravesham is a fantastic District and I am absolutely sure Fraser will flourish in his new role as your lead. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank him for all his support as my deputy and to wish him all the very best for the future in his new role.
So, let me finish by wishing you all, a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Prosperous & Fun Filled New Year!!
