This year we decided to rebrand Gravesham District Beaver Cross Country to Gravesham District Bunny Run. Which meant there were some changes to this event including the invitation for Squirrels to join in too.

There was a race for everyone;

• Squirrels

  
  

• Beavers under 7

  
  

• Beavers over 8

  
  

• All comers Leaders, YLs, Parents

The event was attended by 5 Beaver colonies and 1 Squirrel Drey. During the event not only did they run a race but the children also took part in 2 activities. The families were encouraged to help with the activity which was really nice to see. The Hopehill Gift Shop was also open so the children and families could treat themselves. Towards the end of the event all children participated in a Easter Egg Hunt in which they traded in a laminated picture for an actual chocolate. In total there were 29 children who attended this event who all left happy with a certificate and medal.
