Site Rules
This is a Scout Campsite and all users are expected to abide by Scouting values

Animals and Furry Friends
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on site when visiting Hopehill, unless they are registered Assistance dogs. This must notified on your booking paperwork. All Assistance dogs are expected to stay on a lead and we expect owners to clear up any mess.
Please note we do allow our wardens to have dogs on site as they are volunteers.
Public Footpaths
Please note we have public footpaths through the wooded area of Hopehill.
Waste and Recycling
Bins in the toilets are not to be used for general rubbish.
Take glass (jars, bottles) home, Non recycling goes in the large bins in the Inner carpark. Recycling goes in the wheelie bins by the main gate (Clean tin cans, paper, card and clear solid plastic).

Noise
Please keep all noise to a minimum between the hours of 22:00 and 08:00 while staying/visiting Hopehill Campsite.
Please also note that we do not have a music or video licence so, if you wish to play music or show films at your event, you will need to get one.
Respect our Neighbours
Please be mindful and respectful of our neighbours and the local community. Walking parties are asked to use designated footpaths and not to stray onto private land.
Shared Toilet and Cleaning
You are responsible for keeping the toilets clean and if there are several groups on site the warden will issue a duty rota.

Marquee Hire
You are responsible for both erecting and striking the marquee, unless it is wet and the warden instructs you to leave it up.In that event the Gravesham District team will be responsible for taking it down.

No Liability for Damage or Loss
Any group or personal property is the responsibility of the person who owns or brings it, this includes electronic devices, vehicles and trailers

Car Park
Please park considerately to ensure maximum use of the room available. If you are running a large event you will be responsible for marshalling the arrivals and departures. Please be aware car parking is limited, we encourage car sharing. Some barriers and signage available, please ask the warden.
The front gate will be closed overnight but not padlocked. If you need to go in or out or have emergency services attending please close the gate after use.

Smoking or Vaping
Smoking or vaping is not allowed in any building. If you wish to smoke or vape outside please do so discreetly.

Building
Lobby area of the Clifford Allen Building is not included in the hire of any hall. This area is public to all users of the site.

Our Prices are at our sole discretion of Hopehill Campsite part of Gravesham Scouts, and we reserve the right to update our pricing throughout the year and before your visit.
