Trustee Board Changes
The Scouts have announced some significant changes for Trustee Boards, including a new standard constitution, a new process for appointing trustees and a new focus on governance. These changes mostly take effect from each Group’s next AGM.
To help explain and understand the changes, we will be holding a meeting at 3pm on Saturday 18th May at Istead Rise Scout Hall, 187 Downs Road, Istead Rise DA13 9HF. The meeting should last no more than an hour with a chance to network over tea and coffee afterwards.
The meeting is particularly for Group Chairs and Group Scout Leaders, but all trustees are welcome to attend as is anyone else who is interested. It would be great if all groups could have a representative present.
