Authorising Activities
The District Commissioner is required to put in place a system for authorising all activities in the District. The process for Gravesham is attached and is effective immediately, and applies to all activities including weekly section meetings.
The key points are:
No change to Nights Away process
Adventurous activities (needing permits plus shooting and tomahawks) need approved by me unless booked at Hopehill, on the District Calendar or at another Scout site / event
Sectional activities approved by GSL / DESC etc... usually through a review of the programme.
