Gravesham Scouts are running a canoe trip, the Medway TT (Tonbridge to Teston) on 14th October (*weather and river conditions dependent)
This is a 16km paddle from Tonbridge – Lower Castle Car Park – TN9 1HR to Teston Bridge Country Park – ME18 5BX.
The journey will be mostly easy paddling but will take in a number (six) of canoe chutes along the way.
This trip is open to Scouts and Explorers and suited to those with some paddling experience but is also available for those that maybe new to paddling.
All attendees are encouraged to have British Canoe (BC) membership Members Hub | The Home of British Canoeing Membership (Youth membership £29 per anum).
There is no additional cost to attend this canoe session for British Canoeing (BC) members.
The cost for non-BC members to attend this trip on the river will be £15.00 per person
The trip is limited by the number of craft available and will allocated on a first come first serve basis.
If you wish to attend, please complete and return the Participation Agreement by 10th Oct to reserve you place.
