Christingle 2023
Yesterday evening saw a fantastic turn out of over 180 young people made up of Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, and Explorers not to mention all the leaders, parent helpers, friends and family, for this year’s Christingle Service at St Georges Church in Gravesend.
Carols, stories, sketches and even a magic show cumulated to produce what was an extremely entertaining Christmas Service, Christingle 2023.
Particular thanks must go to Barbara Leadbetter, Lynda Sawell (our District Chaplain) and everyone else who took part, not forgetting our very own merry band of SAS members, who once again produced a phenomenal quantity of Christingles for the young people.
What a wonderful way to end the year, as a District, and my last “official” engagement as District Commissioner.
