2023 saw the District Beavers and their leaders gather together and set off on our Annual Museum Outing, this time to RAF Hendon.
We had 40 young people attending this year all achieving their stage 1 and 2 Air Activities badges as well as learning about the history of the Flying Corps and aircraft throughout the decades.
Blessed with fabulous weather as we moved between the museum’s six hangers, they all behaved very well and did the District proud. They also said hello to other groups from Oxford and North London all under the wings of everything from Biplanes to Sea Planes along with Hurricanes and Vulcans.
A big thank you to all the leaders who came to support the event and made a truly fabulous day.
