Explorer Night Kayak Evening
On Monday the 25th September Kipling and Apollo exolorer units took on the adventure of an evening paddle on the river Medway. We are very lucky in the explorer team to have three permit holders who enabled the explorers to have this opportunkry myself, Dan Brown and Callum Bosley and I would like to say a big thank you to them. I would also like to say a big thank you to our fourth permit holder Charlotte Booth who also came along to help.
We set off from Yalding in the light armed with glowsticks and head torches ready for when it got dark. We paddled up to the disused lock where our glow sticks came into use. As much as they have us some pretty pictures they certainly did there job.
We all had a wonderful time and we will be looking at repeating this event next year. In the meantime if any explorers would like to do more paddling please look out for news and paddling events from the Gravesham water sports team or regusky run paddling sessions.
