Once again Gravesham Explorer Scouts held their annual Casino Night on 20th March.
On this evening all the Explorers dress up “Black Tie” style and spend an evening in the Casino playing Roulette, Poker, Blackjack and Bagatelle, whilst drinking Mocktails prepared by the Network. It is quite a sight as the photos show. When the Casino closes we move on to betting on the “Whacky Races”.
This is a popular event; currently the 4 Gravesham units have a total of 64 members and 57 of these were present at the Casino.
Finally, please be reassured that real money is not accepted in the Casino. The only currency used is Hopehill Credits, which older leaders will remember from Winter Camps about 10 years ago and which now appear as legal tender just once a year.
