Grow by 50 - 2x Winners
Kent Scouts have challenged themselves to grow to 25,000 young people by 2025, and they challenged each District to grow by 50 at the last census as part of this - which Gravesham did by 63. Nine of the 13 groups in Gravesham grew, and four (as well as Explorers) grew by more than ten. Those were all entered into a prize draw with all the others across Kent and both 31st Gravesend and Culverstone & Vigo were picked. Both groups have won £500 and a free activity day at Lower Grange Farm. Congratulations to both groups and to everyone else who grew too.
County also introduced a series of awards for Groups and Units who managed great growth over the year…
Each person in the Groups or District Explorer Scout Units get a badge if they achieved a growth of 10 or more Members above the last census.
