There are 2 extra in-person training courses being organised in March; one for new adults and the other ongoing learning on safeguarding.
Email invitations have been sent to those who might need to attend but anyone is welcome to sign up.
Essential information – training for new leaders
When? Sunday 8th March. 9.30am start, finish by lunchtime
Where? Hopehill Campsite, Meopham
Who is it for? All new leaders, section assistants, executive committee members – especially for those who are in their first year in Scouts or have not done the on-line course.
What does it cover? Fundamentals of Scouting, Scouts structure and support, the Adult training scheme, Safety and Safeguarding
Cost? Free – and tea / coffee and biscuits provided too!
Uniform? Not needed

Safeguarding – ongoing learning course
When? Saturday 7th March. 9:30am start, 13:00 finish
Where? Hopehill Campsite, Meopham
Who is it for? Leaders who need to complete their Safeguarding ongoing learning or will need to shortly; any other adults in Scouts who would like to refresh or extend their safeguarding knowledge
Cost? Free – and tea / coffee and biscuits provided too!
